HOME BUILDING PROCESS

Step 1
SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT

Our sales professionals will help you choose the home that best fits your situation. We can modify our plans to meet your needs, or we can build from your plans.

Step 2
MEET ON YOUR PROPERTY

We will meet you on your property to determine the best location for your new home.  We will also evaluate the cost to prepare your lot for construction.   The costs of clearing, access, utilities (well/water tap, septic/sewer tap, power), grading, driveways, etc. will be determined at this time.   Usually, the cost of these items can be included in your financing. We are able to coordinate all of these for you.

 

Step 3
APPLY FOR FINANCING

We will assist you, as needed, with the financing process by matching you with the program that best fits your financial needs. We can assist with most credit situations and in many cases we can pay off your land and/or mobile home. We can also work with the lender of your choice.

Step 4
CUSTOMIZE YOUR HOME

From our samples, choose the style and color of many items in your home!  Shingles, siding, cabinets, countertops, floor covering, etc. are available in several styles and colors.  We can customize the home the way you want it by:

• Changing ceiling heights

• Adding garages or porches

• Adding fireplace

• Changing to Hardie Board or Brick siding

• Adding free standing tubs or tile shower

• Changing to a metal roof

 

At this time, we can make any adjustments to your estimate and finalize your contract.

 

Step 5
BUILDING OF YOUR NEW HOME

Once we have obtained the necessary permits, we will begin construction of your new home. Our construction managers are professional and courteous, and they will keep you informed throughout the construction process. Building time will vary, depending on the site conditions, the weather and the location.

Step 6
MOVE IN

 

Upon completion and final settlement, we will give you the keys and you’re ready to move in.
